Review on the Sorcerer's Apprentice (the movie)

Posted by AstralBooBaby on August 9, 2010 at 1:33 PM

Balthazar Blake is a master sorcerer in modern-day Manhattan trying to defend the city from his arch-nemesis, Maxim Horvath. Balthazar can't do it alone, so he recruits Dave Stutler, a seemingly average guy who demonstrates hidden potential, as his reluctant protege. The sorcerer gives his unwilling accomplice a crash course in the art and science of magic, and together, these unlikely partners work to stop the forces of darkness. It'll take all the courage Dave can muster to survive his training, save the city and get the girl as he becomes The Sorceror's Apprentice.

I've got to say that over-all, I liked the movie! It's full of humor, action and 'real life' truths of our multidimensional existence. In fact there were even lines in the movie that were verbatim to the information that I had shared in past youtube videos regarding my astral projection and out of body experiences! Proving once again, that 'truth' is stranger than fiction and the truth of some of the most 'off-the-wall' concepts (from a human perspective) is often hidden in plain sight via the movies.

AkeemTheDream says...
(Fight Club)
Man, I see in fight club the strongest and smartest men who've ever lived. I see all this potential, and I see squandering. God damn it, an entire generation pumping gas, waiting tables; slaves with white collars. Advertising has us chasing cars and clothes, working jobs we hate so we can buy shit we don't need. We're the middle children of history, man. No purpose or place. We have no Great War. No Great Depression. Our Great War's a spiritual war... our Great Depression is our lives. We've all been raised on television to believe that one day we'd all be millionaires, and movie gods, and rock stars. But we won't. And we're slowly learning that fact. And we're very, very pissed off.

( Love love love, I know that last part seems alittle negative but look at it with rose shades )

Peace Love and Unity

Amen to that bro! Materials and money can't buy us happiness. The sooner the rest of the world realises this, the better :)

I thought the movie was awesome :)
Peace and love!

Moives do hold alot of truth in them.Becuase we make them of course! lol But I have to agree with Endless Mystic on the matrix. There is alot in the first one that really explains what all of us as a human race have been going through with our mental and spiritual battle to free our Consciousness.
I also think the power of intent is a huge factor, Anytime I go out watch a moive I just have the intent to see something valuable or learn something. And I always do!!!!
Moives to watch that I recommend: August Rush, Revolver, Across The Universe, What The Bleep!? Down the Rabbit Hole Quatum Physics.

Peace , Love , and Unity

yeah.. movies have lots of symbolisms in them. I 're-saw" the matrix after i learned about the symbolism in movies... It was eye opening.. I don't know if I'll see the sorcerer's apprentice, cause well some of the movies I watch are by chance... I'm glad you liked it hope to watch it with my third eye... later
