OUIJA BOARDS - HOAX OR REAL?

Posted by Astralboobaby on February 14, 2014 at 12:25 AM

Someone had posted a question to me within a group forum that I am apart of on Facebook regarding Ouija boards... I decided to share the respective question and my response here because I feel that there’s a strong relevance among certain members here…

QUESTION;

“Astral BooBaby..... what or how do you explain the Quija board? I had an experience and I have seen multiple people who also have had experiences in your opinion is it a hoax or does it have any metaphysical validity?”

ABB's RESPONSE;

The Ouija board is a 'real' conduit for spirits and entities vibrating outside of this frequency or bandwidth to interact or communicate through us within our present vibratory frequency/bandwidth... One can say that when we sit down and use the Ouija board; we are pretty much agreeing to allow our energy or vessels to be conduits for communication, in this regard… How does it work? Well, before I really answer that question – please keep in mind that our bodies are mostly water and this was by ‘intelligent’ design because water is a necessary component for spirit, energy and consciousness to flow ‘fluidly’ within this dense reality… Water is also a perfect conductor of electricity and electromagnetic energy, which is a huge part of what we are in our purest form… Therefore, it is through the water within our vessels that these ‘outside’ forces direct and communicate with us – sort of like how neurons are sent from the brain to move our fingers, hands and body.

The Ouija board summons; opens portals and gateways by way of the body or bodies and energy of the person(s), who has set forth the intent to do so… Spirits and Beings can merge their consciousness with our bodies and send electrical signals to move or direct us in a certain way but as it relates to the Ouija board, the Being(s) is directing the motion to spell out the appropriate words that corresponds to the questions asked or whatever information that they wish to communicate. Here’s the potential danger in using Ouija boards – if our minds are not strong OR if there is a crack in our auric field, an entity can project a portion of their energy or consciousness into our sphere and can continuously influence or even possess the host. For this reason alone; I advise people who are not knowledgeable of the metaphysical or those who obsessively drink alcohol, do drugs; eat a lot of meat; have sex with multiple partners (promiscuous), hateful, hostile, selfish or those who have any form of disease -- DO NOT play with or use these boards. Such persons can easily attract or magnetize a force that would only feed off of or into their present condition and let’s say that this will not manifest anything pretty or beneficial for the host.

Regarding Ouija boards, google ZoZo if you want to know more. Here is one link to start.

Thank you ABB for sharing your thoughts and perspective on this phenomenon. My dad and his siblings played with a Ouija board when they were young as well, although the entity that came through claimed it was negative. Luckily my grandmother intervened and removed the Ouija board from the house knowing the potential dangers that could result from using it (she, my dad, and his sisters are sensitive to energies/spirit in there own unique ways).

I too have seen Ouija boards being sold in the children/teen section of stores, especially bookstores. I know a person on my college campus who uses one occasionally. I never have accompanied her when using it, but I always strongly advise her to be careful. She states that she says a prayer before doing it, but like you said, to the untrained person and to people who have detrimental lifestyles or some type of trauma (some of which she does have), using these boards can be risky. Ultimately, knowing her, I tell her I don't use them because they are risky to the untrained, and I don't think it's completely safe that she use them, but in the end that is all I can do. It is her life.

As it relates to the pendulum ABB, I agree that they can definitely be detrimental if one were to rely on them heavily. Especially considering how not everything is set in stone, reality is very fluid and subject to change at the behest of all that is.

You are welcome Omni and thanks for contributing to this discussion.

Does automatic writing fall under the same guidelines and risks as do Ouija boards? And is it something in the board itself that causes it to attract entities and connect to portals? Or is it more in the intent of the user?

Automatic writing doesn't fall under the same umbrella, rules or guidelines as a Oujia board because automatic writing is the work of the subconscious or super-conscious mind of the writer and not the invocation of some random spirit or entity. Yes, the design of the board (with their symbols and shapes) does play a major factor in what makes the Oujia board work... More specifically, the guide bar is a key conductor and magnetic tool to attract and facilitate the Oujia board experience... The intent behind the creation of this board plays a big role as well.... Another factor in this regard is the words and language associated to the board... They don't call it 'SPELL' ing for no reason... There's far more to language and words than we have been taught.

The board that we used belonged to a cousin that I was living with at the time... She bought the board as a Christmas gift to herself. Come to think of it, I must ask my cousin what ever happened to that board? As far as I know, the board was only used twice.

I am one of the relatives that played with a board back in the day with boo and some other relatives. I remember it like it was yesterday and it was creepy and fascinating at the same time and it's real! A force was definitely making us move our hands and spell out certain words very clearly! Knowing what I know now, I definitely wouldn't do it again!

I have had good and bad experiences with them. I suggest using sage to cleanse it before use. If not you can get some nasty things without using a blessing tool of some sort before use. I found it fun when everything was "good" but I don't think these are any better or worse than other things. I never used it alone. I don't think I would want to solo something like this. I can tell you the more spiritual awareness one' brings to this side of the coin will determine the gusto the opposite side has to use or that is how it seemed to me.

Great recommendation Karen! If anyone plans to use these boards, they must set forth a clear positive intention and do something to be sure that the energy in the room is conducive for a positive experience... This is what an occultist or someone who's knowledgeable of the metaphysical world would do before, opening themselves up to Ouija boards

@Maria - Yes, I have used a Ouija board once before many years ago. I used it with my sister and three other cousins; we were all really young. I must say that a force definitely came through for sure. It felt like a powerful magnet or force was pulling the guide-bar all across the board and being the empath that I am, I literally felt the energy of the spirit fill up the space we were in. A couple of my cousins got really scared and dropped out but my sister and one other cousin kept going... We basically asked simple questions about the spirit and our future. The spirit claimed to be an angel and I remember that it spelled out that I would be very successful in life. Of course, we didn't know much about what we were calling forth or doing at the time.

Can be pendulums be just as dangerous as Ouija boards? No, but using pendulums obsessively can create an unhealthy dependency and can thus, cheat us of our own personal development in this regard... Pendulums more or less, connects to the consciousness of either the subconscious mind of the holder or the universal mind but Ouija boards were designed to connect to specific gateways, portals, which could attract certain spirits or entities, depending on the magnetic, intention and energy of the person(s), whose using the board. I don't think NO ONE should be buying those things for children to play with! The fact that they would be selling this to children opens up another discussion all together. Could the Ouija board be a part of some greater conspiracy? Something to make you go hmmm....?

That's some very heavy and dark stuff. last year, I heard someone in the isle of 'Toys R Us' say that they even sell ouija boards there!'

Have you ever used a Ouija board ABB; and if so, were you successful?

I can't recall anyone sharing any experience regarding ouija boards, but I've seen much on pendelums. Can they be just as dangerous?
