http://www.astralboobaby.net/apps/photos/ Astralboobaby's Portrait I created this portrait in Microsoft Paint. Most of you know, MS Paint is a cheap and inadequate tool for painting digital art. But, sadly, Photoshop is too expensive for me. I did the best I could. :) This is the beginning sketch of ABB's face. I decided to paint ABB's face using a blue scheme because when I think of blue I think of a person who is calm, soothing, creative, and introspective. Photoshop would make this look so much more realistic with its ability to shade but I quite like the shiny semi-realistic surface that I painted. Remember, the more shine and shadow, the more realistic. I drew the body's shape and blocked in the base colors. I also finished coloring the skullcap which was by far the easiest part of the painting. Stars are easy to paint. Just dots! I like how it turned out over all. I could do way better in photoshop and had I had more patience but I'm really happy with ABB's face and that's the most important part. So if I ever revisit this painting I will repost.
